Ather Energy and BLive have entered into a strategic partnership to drive electric vehicle adoption across popular tourist destinations in the country. The partnership will build charging infrastructure at tourist destinations in India, starting with Goa.
As per the press statement, BLive will set up five charging stations for Ather Energy across Goa by the end of August 2021. The company further plans to strengthen its presence by setting up 15 charging stations across the state by the end of this year. Potential customers can also pre-booking and purchase Ather electric scooters through BLive EV Store. BLive is the official electric vehicle tourism partner of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC).
Speaking about the announcement, Ravneet S. Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said that the company aims to leverage BLive’s strong presence, in Goa and other popular tourist destinations across India, in deploying Ather Grid and bringing the Ather experience to electric vehicle enthusiasts.
BLive will use its existing partnerships to drive the Ather Grid roll-out across India. Apart from Goa, the two brands also plan to expand joint operations in Coorg, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu.
