Ather Energy has achieved the 50,000-unit production milestone.The Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer shared this update on its social media handles. Tarun Mehta, CEO, Ather Electric, further shared the timeline of the production milestones, stating that the last 10,000 units were produced in two months.
Meanwhile, Ather Energy reported excellent growth in August 2022, achieving a 297 per cent increase in sales. The company sold 6,410 units in August 2022, which the manufacturer said is its highest-ever monthly number.
Ather Energy updated its product portfolio with the launch of the 450 Gen 3 in India. This version gets updated features and a larger battery pack than its predecessor. The 450X Gen 3 uses a 3.7kWh lithium-ion battery against the previous gen model’s 2.9kWh unit. With a bigger battery pack, the electric scooter is claimed to deliver a range of 105km per charge.
The company’s current portfolio includes two options – 450 Plus and 450X. The Plus version is available at Rs 1,34,147 while the X variant is priced at Rs 1,55,657 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
