Ather Energy has expanded its reach in the Indian market with the inauguration of a new experience centre in the financial capital of the country, Mumbai. Located in Malad, Mumbai, this new experience centre is inaugurated with an aim to meet the increasing demand for the 450 series. This new outlet will offer the newly launch Gen-3 variants of the flagship Ather 450X and 450 Plus.
The Bangalore-based manufacturer said that it continues to witness a significant surge in demand from the state. Interested buyers can book test ride slots on the company’s website before visiting the experience centre.
Speaking about the expansion, Ravneet S Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said that Maharashtra has responded phenomenally to the 450 series and the company has witnessed a seven times growth in sales of its scooters in the past 12 months. Phokela further added that the two-wheeler maker is confident of capturing a larger market share with the launch of the Gen-3 scooters. The company has also installed 24 Ather Grids in Mumbai and it plans to add more across the city.
The Ather 450X is available at Rs 1,49,934 while the Ather 450 Plus is priced at Rs 1,28,424 in Mumbai (ex-showroom price, post Fame II revision).
