Ather Energy has expanded its reach in Gujarat with the inauguration of its new retail outlet, the Ather Space at Vesu, Surat. This new experience centre will be the brand’s second retail outlet in Gujarat. The first Ather Space was set up in Ahmedabad earlier this year. Post the Fame-II revision, the Ather 450X will be available for Rs 1,26,926 while the Ather 450 Plus will retail for Rs 1,07,916 in Surat.
Speaking about the inauguration of the new Ather Space in Surat, Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said that the response from Gujarat has been phenomenal since the opening of the Ahmedabad experience centre in January. This has led to significant demand for Ather’s 450X and 450 Plus scooters. To cater to growing consumer demand in Gujarat, Ather Energy plans to expand to more cities.
Interested buyers in Surat can book test ride slots on the company’s website before visiting the experience centre. This new experience centre has been opened in partnership with Kataria Group.
Apart from the introduction of the new Ather Space, the company has also installed two fast-charging points, Ather Grid, in Surat. These outlets are located in Adajan and Magdalla. The electric two-wheeler maker plans to add 8-10 more fast-charging outlets. Ather Energy said in its press announcement that it aims to add 500 Ather Grids by the end of FY22 across the country. The company also plans to expand to 100 cities with 150 experience centres by March 2023.
