Ather Energy has expanded its retail operations in Kerala with the launch of a new outlet, Ather Space at Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram. This experience centre is the brand’s third store in the state, after Kochi and Kozhikode. The company said in its press statement that the rapid expansion in the state is driven by the response to the Ather 450X and 450 Plus electric scooters.
The new outlet has been set up in association with Popular Vehicles & Services. Interested buyers can book test ride slots on the company’s website before visiting the experience centre. The outlet will offer test rides for the Ather 450X and the Ather 450 Plus.
Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said that Kerala is one of the largest markets for Ather Energy, with a high rate of EV adoption, and the market acceptance for premium electric two-wheelers. He further added that the company aims to launch 10 new retail stores in Kerala by March 2023.
The company has also installed five Ather Grid points at several points across Thiruvananthapuram. The company plans to add four more charging points by March 2022. The Ather 450X is available for Rs 1,46,926 while the Ather 450 Plus is available for Rs 1,27,916 in Thiruvananthapuram (ex-showroom price post Fame II revision).
