- Ather to setup 1000 fast chargers in Karnataka
- Signs MoU with Karnataka government
Ather Energy has announced that it recently got access to 1000 new locations to setup fast charging facilities. It has signed a MoU with the Karnataka government on the same.
As part of the MoU, the state-owned power transmission and distribution company ESCOM will provide support to Ather to install Ather Grid - the company's fast charging network. All government agencies in Karnataka would coordinate with distribution companies to share their available spaces for charging stations.
As of now, Ather has a total of 58 fast charging stations on Karnataka and around 300 points across the country. It plans to install close to 5000 fast chargers in the next three years. Hence, we can expect more MoU announcements from Ather with various governments.
