- Ather Energy sells 3,787 units in May
- Records highest-ever monthly sales
Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler maker, Ather Energy seems to be growing steadily in the Indian market, which is evident by the consistent increment in its sales every month. In May 2022, the company recorded its highest-ever monthly sales of 3,787 units. Although it wasn’t a major jump as compared to April when it dispatched 3,779 units, the difference is substantial over March’s sales number of 2,591 units.
Ather Energy currently has two offerings in its portfolio – 450X and 450 Plus. Technologically, these scooters are amongst the most advanced two-wheelers in India with a bunch of connected features on offer. They are also impressive in other aspects like top speed, range, charging time, and the overall ride experience which are the main reasons for the scooter’s popularity. It’s worth noting that the sales of electric two-wheelers are on an increase in general, mainly because of their extremely low running cost as compared to the fuel-guzzling ICE machines.
Other developments that took place at Ather Energy in May, 2022 include its partnership with Magenta ChargeGrid which is aimed at expanding the public charging network in India. The company also widened its retail footprint in Kerala by inaugurating stores in four different cities across the state.
