The Trend E electric scooter will be sold alongside the Xero and Xero+ models which are already on sale in our country. These scooters possess compact dimensions and boast of a sleek and stylish design. Powering the Trend E is a lithium-ion battery which can deliver a range of 60km while two batteries together provide a range of 110km. The battery requires around two to four hours to get fully charged. The electric scooter can take a maximum payload of 150kgs while it can reportedly attain a top speed of 45kmph.
The suspension duties on the Trend E electric scooter are carried out by telescopic forks on the front and coil spring shock absorber at the rear. Meanwhile, the alloy wheels are anchored by front disc and rear drum brakes. Avan Motors has launched the Trend E in three colour options which include Red-Black, Black-Red and White-Blue.
As we had reported earlier, Avan Motors has 33 dealerships across India and aims to expand this to over 100 showrooms in 2019 with the main focus on tier II and tier III cities.
