- Domestic sales grew by two per cent
- Exports witnessed 103 per cent growth

Bajaj Auto has reported its sales data for the month of July 2021. The Pune-based brand recorded 3,30,569 unit two-wheeler sales in July 2021 as against 2,38,556 units in the corresponding month last year; a growth of 39 per cent.
The domestic sales grew two per cent while exports witnessed a 103 per cent increase. Bajaj Auto sold 1,56,232 two-wheelers in the domestic market in July 2021 as compared to 1,52,474 in July last year. The exports grew from 86,082 units in July 2021 to 1,74,337 units in the recently concluded month.
The year-to-date (April-June 2021) data, too, saw a positive growth. The domestic year-to-date sales grew by 47 per cent while the exports increased by 144 per cent over the corresponding period last year. The overall year-to-date for two-wheelers stood at 93 per cent.
The company is currently expanding the reach of its Chetak electric scooter in the Indian market aggressively. The electric scooter is currently available in Aurangabad, Pune, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Mangalore, and Mysore.
