Bajaj two-wheeler sales decline by 23 per cent in December 2022

- Overall sales declined by 23 per cent

- Domestic sales fell by two per cent

- Launched Platina 110 ABS in December 2022

Bajaj Auto has reported its sales data for December 2022, and the Pune-based manufacturer sold 2,47,024 two-wheelers in the recently concluded month. In comparison, the company sold 3,18,769 units in December 2021, thus registering a decline of 23 per cent.

The domestic sales declined by two per cent, falling from 1,27,593 units in December 2021 to 1,25,525 units in December 2022. Meanwhile, the exports declined from 1,91,176 units in December 2021 to 1,21,499 units in December 2022, thus recording a fall of 36 per cent.

Apart from the year-on-year sales, Bajaj Auto also announced its year-to-date (April-December 2022) figures and the company sold 27,17,239 units during this period. In comparison, the manufacturer sold 19,77,765 units in the corresponding period of 2021.

In more updates, Bajaj Auto has announced the launch of the Platina 110 ABS in the Indian market at Rs 72,224 (ex-showroom). This is the only motorcycle in the entry-level commuter segment to get the safety net of ABS in India.
