- Domestic sales declined by 15 per cent

Bajaj Auto has released its year-on-year sales data for November 2022 and the Pune-based manufacturer registered a 23 per cent decline in the overall two-wheeler business.
The domestic sales of the company fell from 1,44,953 units in November 2021 to 1,23,490 units in November 2022. The exports, too, witnessed a fall and the numbers declined from 1,93,520 units in November 2021 to 1,38,630 units in November this year. The overall sales stood at 2,62,120 units in the last month as against 3,38,473 units in the same period last year.
The year-to-date figures, too, witnessed similar performance and the overall year-on-year figures for April-November declined from 26,58,996 units in 2021 to 24,70,215 units in 2022, registering a seven per cent fall. Domestic sales increased by eight per cent while exports fell by 19 per cent during this period.
Notably, the company updated its portfolio with the launch of the Pulsar P150 in the Indian market in November 2022, with prices starting from Rs 1,16,755 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This motorcycle has been launched in Kolkata for now. However, it will be rolled out across the country in the coming weeks.
