- Camps are underway in affected areas of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat and Kerala
- Includes free check-up along with minor repairs and replacement of parts
- Will conclude on 7 September
Bajaj Auto has organised free service camps for its two-wheelers which have been affected due to floods following the recent heavy downpour in several areas across India. Started on 19 August, the camps are underway at Bajaj dealerships and service centres in multiple towns of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat and Kerala. The campaign will conclude on 7 September.
Bajaj customers with two-wheelers affected due to water can visit the nearest dealership or service centre and get their bikes examined comprehensively. While the company is offering free check-up and oil change, the customers are also exempted from paying the replacement cost of other components such as oil filter, air filter, gaskets and engine oil. However, in case a major repair or part replacement is required, the company recommends the customers to carry insurance claim documents for the same.
In order to ensure prompt service, Bajaj has reportedly moved the technicians and spare parts from neighbouring states to the affected areas. After a huge massacre due to the consistent torrential rains in several parts of India, such an initiative from Bajaj is admirable.
