- Looks similar to the CT110X
- To be powered by a 125cc air-cooled engine
- Likely to be launched soon
Back in April 2021, Bajaj launched the CT 110X commuter bike in India. Now, it seems that the Chakan-based bikemaker is likely to launch the CT 125X too, very soon.
The bike has been spotted at what appears to be a storage facility and it looks ready to go on sale. The upcoming Bajaj CT 125X looks similar to the current CT 110X. It features the same rugged and utilitarian commuter design as its smaller sibling. The fascia consists of a round headlight with bulb illumination and a plastic cowl with the LED DRL integrated into it. Not to mention, the 125X also gets a headlight guard.
You can expect the CT 125X to be powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine mated to a four-speed gearbox. It features a twin-pod analogue instrument console and a USB port placed below it. Bajaj has equipped the CT 125X with a tuck and roll single-piece seat, a rear luggage rack, and an engine guard too.
It's suspended on conventional telescopic forks and dual rear springs. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises drum brakes at both ends. It rides on 17-inch alloys wrapped in road-biased tyres, unlike the ones we see on the CT 110X.
Bajaj is yet to launch the bike officially in the country. We expect it to happen soon. As for the asking price, the CT 125X will cost a few thousand rupees more than the CT 110X (priced at Rs 66,296).
