Bajaj Auto has decided to go ahead with its planned new factory near Pune. This new factory is likely to be dedicated for its premium range.
According to a report, the Pune-based manufacturer has signed a MoU with Maharashtra government and the work on the construction of this new factory will commence soon. This factory is likely to be operational by 2023.
This new plant will cater to Bajaj’s three premium brands – KTM, Husqvarna and Triumph. This plant is likely to be the same place where Bajaj will manufacturer KTM’s 500cc parallel-twin range of motorcycles. This factory is also likely to make Triumph’s most affordable 200cc motorcycle.
We can expect this factory to be equipped with modern equipment that will help the company churn out top-class motorcycles that will also be exported to different markets.
