- Bajaj sales down by 11 per cent in September 2021
- Domestic sales dwindle by 21 per cent
Bajaj Auto witnessed a drop of 11 per cent in its overall (domestic and exports) sales in the month of September 2021. The company sold 3,61,036 units of two-wheelers last month as against 4,04,851 units in the corresponding month last year.
Talking about domestic sales specifically, the company sustained a downfall of 21 per cent as the dispatches came down from 2,19,500 units in September 2020 to 1,73,945 units in the same month this year. On the other hand, exports went up by a minimal one per cent as Bajaj dispatched a total of 1,87,091 units in September 2021.
Bajaj is preparing to introduce some interesting products in the coming days. And the most anticipated ones amongst these are the Pulsar 250cc twins including a naked and a semi-faired motorcycle. These bikes will sport an all-new design, a new engine, more features over existing Bajaj offerings, and a hardware package built from scratch.
Additionally, we’ll also see Bajaj’s flagship offering, the Dominar 400, being marginally updated. The motorcycle is expected to get new features, subtle styling changes, and maybe a new set of paint schemes. There could also be certain mechanical upgrades to make it a better package.
