Bajaj sees substantial decline in sales

- The domestic sales have seen a notable slump in February

- Exports too have slumped low as compared to January 2022

Bajaj's monthly sales figures are out for February 2022 and the numbers have dipped even lower than before.

The Chakan-based two-wheeler manufacturer managed to sell 2,79,337 units last month. Of the aforementioned number 1,82,814 units were exported and 96,523 units were sold in India. Compared to February 2021, the domestic sales saw a decline of 35 per cent.

The company has now been reporting low sales for the past seven months even with the introduction of the new 250cc twins. Moreover, Bajaj recently hiked the prices of its entire portfolio, so, the March sales figures should be anything but surprising.
