Bajaj to launch electric two-wheeler for Yulu this year

-         To be branded as Yulu 

-         Could also see a Chetak model in future 

Bajaj is gearing up to launch its second electric two-wheeler. This new EV will be made for its mobility partner – Yulu.

This new electric two-wheeler is likely to help Yulu expand its business to other than the personal mobility segment. There have been rumours about this new product catering to the business side of things, especially the delivery services. But we are yet to hear something concrete on this from both the companies. 

This new two-wheeler is likely to have a top speed of 40kmph and that means it would require a licence, registration and insurance to ride. We can expect Bajaj to also create a version of this scooter and sell it in various markets. The Chetak is currently priced at over Rs 1 lakh which makes it a premium product. So there’s a high chance we could also see a model that could be sold under the Chetak brand.
