- Bajaj’s June 2022 sales data released
- Domestic sales droped by 20 per cent
- Exports grew by 23 per cent
Bajaj Auto has released its sales data for the month of June 2022. While the domestic sales of the brand plunged by as much as 20 per cent, exports went up by 23 per cent. As a result, the overall two-wheeler sales of Bajaj recorded a hike of two per cent.
Talking about the sales numbers, the company dispatched 1,25,083 units of two-wheelers in India last month which was down from 1,55,640 units in the corresponding month last year. On the other hand, exports soared from 1,54,938 units dispatched in June last year to 1,90,865 units in the same month this year. Bajaj’s total sales in June 2022 stood at 3,15,948 units.
As for Bajaj’s product portfolio, it was refreshed last month with the launch of the new Pulsar N160 and the All-black edition of the Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250. The N160 is essentially a successor to the Pulsar NS160 with a new chassis, reworked engine, additional features, and new-age design which is identical to the new quarter-litre Pulsars. Meanwhile, the All-black edition of the 250cc Pulsars brought along a new paint scheme and a dual-channel ABS setup. Both bikes were available only with single-channel ABS previously.
