- Powered by a V-twin engine
- Uses a belt-drive system
- India launch unlikely
Chinese manufacturer, Benda, has unveiled its sub-500cc motorcycle, the Napoleon Bobber. This product is equipped with premium features. However, the highlight is its V-twin engine. The Napoleon Bobber uses a 488cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected motor that delivers a maximum output of 49.6bhp at 8,500rpm and 45Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a belt-drive system.
Meanwhile, the styling cues on this product comprise a round headlight at the front, covers for the front forks, a rider-only saddle, twin exhaust canisters, and fat profile tyres. It boasts the typical bobber-style ergonomics that have been achieved through a flat handlebar and forward-set footpegs. The visuals are further enhanced through golden highlights for the alloy wheels, engine head and cover, and stripes on the body panels. Other hardware on this motorcycle comprises telescopic front forks, a rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both wheels.
The Napoleon Bobber has been unveiled for the Chinese market. However, the India launch details of this product are not available yet. Its rivals in the international markets include the Honda Rebel 500 and the newly unveiled Kawasaki Eliminator 400/450.
