- Benelli 752S enters Malaysia
- Priced at RM 37,888 (approximately Rs 6.82 lakh)
- India launch not confirm yet
Benelli has recently launched its middle-weight naked street bike, the 752S, in Malaysia. The company has priced the bike at RM 37,888 (approximately Rs 6.82 lakh). Notably, Malaysia is amongst the first Asian markets to receive the 752S as it was available only in the European markets until now.
In terms of styling, the 752S looks beefy and muscular mainly because of its golden upside down forks, a low-slung oval-shaped headlamp, a sculpted fuel tank and a stubby tail section. It gets a straight and wide handlebar, a single-piece seat and neutral-set footpegs. In Malaysia, Benelli has launched the 752S in three colour schemes including red, black and green.
The list of features in the 752S is quite modest with a colour TFT screen, full-LED lighting and a dual-channel ABS setup. It is based on a steel trellis frame that holds a 750cc, parallel-twin cylinder engine capable of making around 75bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 67Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. It is suspended by Marzocchi inverted forks and a preload-adjustable monshock while braking is handled by Brembo calipers. With a 14.5-litre fuel tank, its kerb weight stands at 226kg.
As of now, it is not confirmed if Benelli will launch the 752S in India. However, the company will definitely be going aggressive with the expansion of its portfolio in India.
