- 752s get 45cc more placement
- Will churn out 95bhp
- Being repositioned to accommodate the new engine platform
Benelli is planning to give a big power boost to the 752S streetfighter. The Chinese brand has decided to re-position this motorcycle to accommodate its upcoming 700cc engine.
According to a report, Benelli has increased the displacement of this bike from 754cc to 799cc. The interesting part here is that the extra 45cc increase has resulted in a massive 20bhp gain – something that is quite difficult to achieve. But it looks like the Chinese have found a way.
This new motorcycle is likely to be called the 802S and this will help the brand reposition its upcoming 700cc parallel-twin platform. This new engine will first power the TRK 702 that is being planned for a launch soon. This bike will churn out around 75bhp - that’s 20bhp lower than the power on the upcoming 802S.
We are expecting Benelli to unveil the new 802S very soon and when that happens we’ll get a proper idea of how it managed such a power bump.
