Benelli, in association with its partner, Adishwar Auto Ride India – Mahavir Group, has expanded its dealership network in the country by inaugurating a new outlet in Mumbai. The dealership will be handled by Vihana Motors, which is a part of Yuvraj Motors. The state-of-the-art showroom will handle sales, service and spare parts distribution of Benelli bikes while will also comprise of the branded merchandise and accessories. Moreover, Benelli will also start customisation of its motorcycles in India, in a phased manner.
After a short hiatus owing to breaking ties with its previous partner, Benelli restarted its operations in India in August last year. The Italian bikemaker is now widening its portfolio and expanding its dealership reach in full-swing. The company launched its first adventure-tourer siblings, the TRK 502 and the TRK 502X, in February this year in India. These bikes have been priced at Rs 5 lakhs and Rs 5.40 lakhs (ex-showroom). After six months now, Benelli and its Indian partner have launched yet another 500cc offering, the Leoncino 500; a heritage-inspired scrambler-styled motorcycle. Notably, the Leoncino has been priced more competitively than the TRK twins at Rs 4.79 lakhs.
Benelli’s portfolio in India now comprises of the TNT 300, 302R, Leoncino 500, TRK 502, TRK 502X and the TNT600i. While the 300cc siblings are offered with three-year unlimited kilometer warranty, the bigger bikes come with five-year warranty which enhances the ownership experience for the customers.
