- Takes design inspiration from the TNT 302
- Is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor
- Currently sold in the European market only
Benelli has launched its smallest offering in Europe, in the form of the BN125. It takes inspiration from the TNT 302 (also sold overseas) and here’s what it packs.
For starters, the design cues are pretty minimal but the BN125 gets sharp lines. You get a halogen headlight flanked by bulb indicators. Benelli has offered quite some bold colour options too: neon, black, white and red.
The BN125 draws power from a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder motor. It develops 11bhp and 10Nm. The motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. For reference, the KTM 125 Duke belts out 14.3bhp and 12Nm.
On the hardware front, the BN125 is equipped with USD forks and a monoshock. Meanwhile, the braking setup comprises a 260mm front disc and 240mm rear disc with CBS. The BN125 rides on 110/80 front and 130/70 rear tyre shod to 17-inch alloys.
Benelli currently sells the BN125 in the European market only and it retails at EUR 2,499 (approximately Rs 2.06 lakh). That’s a quite high asking price and the bike’s unlikely to be launched in India.
