- TRK 800 adventure bike unveiled
- Gets aspirational styling
- Global launch in 2022
Benelli has expanded its adventure bike line-up at EICMA 2021 with the introduction of the TRK 800. This ADV is their flagship adventure bike right now.
From the pictures, it is clear that the bike is tremendous road presence. This aspect of ownership is something the company focuses a lot on. But as a result, due to larger panels, the overall weight goes to the higher side and that is the same story with the TRK 800. This motorcycle tips the scale at 226kgs.
The TRK 800 is built around a tubular steel trellis frame and rides on fully adjustable Marzocchi forks with 170mm travel at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Interestingly, the Italian brand has gone for 19-inch front wheel and not 21-inch. The rear is 17-inch and both sides have dual-purpose tyres.
The TRK 800 gets its power from the same 754cc parallel-twin motor that is seen on the Leoncino. The motor makes 76bhp and peak torque of 67Nm. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox paired with a slip and assist clutch.
Benelli hasn’t revealed the price of this ADV but expect it to be much lower than the other European rivals. In terms of launch, the bike will debut in the second half of 2022 and we can expect it to come to India then.
