- BKX 300 gets great styling
- S model is road-oriented
- To be launched in 2024
Benelli has taken the wraps off a brand new, entry-level adventure bike – the BKX 300. This new motorcycle will be sold in China and exported to European nations.
From the pictures, it is clear that the new BKX 300 is a beautiful adventure motorcycle. The overall proportions of the motorcycles are good. Then, it gets a rally-styled seat and sharp front and large side panels that enhance the motorcycle's overall appeal. Plus, the white and fluorescent yellow paint schemes make it more aspirational.
This Benelli ADV is powered by a new 292cc, single-cylinder engine that makes around 29bhp of peak power. This engine sits inside a double cradle steel frame and is equipped with 41mm USD forks up front with 1800mm of travel and a monoshock at the rear. Interestingly, the brand has given it a 19-inch front wheel instead of a 21-inch unit to make it perform better on the roads. The braking duties are handled by a 280cc brake disc with a four-piston calliper at the front and a 240mm disc with a single-piston calliper at the back.
Benelli has unveiled another model – the BKX 300 S – which is more like a road variant. It is lighter as some of the bodywork has been removed. Plus, the overall styling lines are pretty on the aggressive side.
Currently, there are no pricing details for the bike, but they are expected to be revealed sometime next year when the bike makes its official debut in world markets.
