- 2022 Leoncino launched
- Gets cosmetic, mechanical updates
- Priced at Rs 7.10 lakh
Benelli has just launched the 2022 versions of the Leoncino 800 and the Leoncino 800 Trail. For this new year, the bikes get new paint schemes and some upgrades.
In terms of styling, the Leoncino twins get new paint schemes that look quite cool. The Leoncino 800, which is a road motorcycle, gets a new grey shade whereas the Trail version, which has been designed and developed to be more off-road friendly, gets a military green colour.
Both the bikes are powered by the same 754cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled motor that produces 76bhp of peak power and 67Nm of maximum torque. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox. These Leoncinos are built on the same platform, hence, the majority of their cycle parts are shared. But there are a few things exclusive to each variant.
The Leoncino 800 gets 17-inch wheels whereas the Trail gets a 19-inch at the front to take all the bad roads with ease. The tyres at the front of both the models are similar at 120/70 but at the rear, the Trail has a narrower 170/60 section as compared to 180/55 on the standard model. The 2022 Leoncinos are priced at Rs 7.10 lakh and the bookings are expected to begin in Europe soon. Sadly, the bikes won't come to India an
