- New Leoncino 800 launch soon
- Gets bigger 799cc engine
- Churns out 20bhp more
Benelli is soon going to unveil the 2024 version of its famous scrambler – the Leoncino 800. For 2024, this motorcycle will have a bigger engine and as a result of that, will churn out more power.
According to a report, the company has disclosed some of the details for the Chinese market. However, the official unveiling is yet to take place. The 2024 Leoncino will get a bigger 799cc parallel-twin engine, which will make close to 20bhp more. The increase in displacement is due to the increase in the bore from 88mm to 90.6mm. The stroke will remain unchanged at 62mm. It will be interesting to know and see how the brand managed to get such a massive bump in power.
The report also suggests that a lot of work has gone into improving the cycle parts of the bike. The suspension is likely to be upgraded along with the brakes. The exact figure of the overall kerb weight isn’t out yet. The 5-inch TFT instrument cluster will continue to remain the same.
The official unveiling of the new Leoncino is likely to happen in the next few weeks. The Europe debut will take place early this year, and with a price that is bound to entice the market.
