- Patent application filed in India
- Powered by a 330cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor
- Unlikely to be launched in India
Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India has patented the Forza 350 maxi-scooter here. This isn’t the first time that the Japanese manufacturer has reserved the intellectual property of one of its products for our market with no concrete launch plans. Here’s what we know so far.
The Forza 350 has been fairly popular in India over the last few years even though the scooter hasn’t made its debut here. It’s sold in Japan, a few European countries, and the USA as well. In its latest trim, the Forza 350 features butch styling with sharp body panels, split LED headlights, a large and transparent visor, and a split seat setup. The Forza is a proper maxi-scooter and is targeted toward younger buyers.
It packs a 330cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine dishing out 28.8bhp and 31.5Nm. Meanwhile, the hardware comprises telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks with the braking setup consisting of a 256mm front and a 240mm rear disc. The latter is mounted on 15-inch front and 14-inch rear alloy wrapped in 120/70 front and 140/70 rear tyres. It also features a USB socket, Honda Smart Key, a twin-pod (analog) console with an LCD for a trip meter, odometer, fuel level bar and other essential readouts.
As mentioned above, the Forza 350 is currently sold in the international market only and has a very bleak chance of being launched here. However, if you are looking for a maxi-scooter in the 300-400cc segment, then the Keeway Vieste 300 and the BMW C 400 GT are your only options for now.
