BMW launched the K 1600 B at the 2017 India Bike Week a couple of days ago. The bike is the bagger version of the luxury-touring motorcycle, the K 1600 GTL and is priced at Rs 29 lakh. We have put together a photo gallery of the K 1600 B, here it is-
The K 1600 B sports a typical bagger design with a low, stretched-out appearance.
The fairing on the K 1600 B is revised and it gets a short, electronically adjustable windscreen.
To improve its touring capabilities, the bike's panniers get a massive 37-litre storage capacity with a USB and Audio input area.
At the heart is a 1649cc in-line six cylinder engine that produces 158bhp and 175Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox with reverse gear.
Suspension duties on the K 1600 B is taken care of by BMW's patent Duolever and Paralever supension.
Stopping power for the 336kg bike comes from twin 320mm discs up front and a single 320mm disc at the rear.
The electronics package on the K 1600 B includes traction control and ABS along with three riding modes.
