- Spotted testing at Isle of Man TT
- Boasts aggressive styling

BMW recently teased one of its upcoming motorcycles, the M 1000 XR. And now, the bike has been spotted at the Isle of Man TT. These are some clear and close images of the upcoming Beemer, which seems to be very aspirational.
BMW Motorrad’s M-line is notoriously known for its performance-oriented setup and the M 1000 XR is no exception. It'll be based on the standard S 1000 XR but the package will be dialed up a notch. For reference, it gets a carbon fibre nose, carbon fibre side panels wings and wheels ( likely to be an optional accessory). The M 1000 XR is also equipped with a full-system Akrapovic exhaust.
BMW is likely to plonk the same 999cc inline four-cylinder liquid-cooled motor with BMW’s shift-cam tech in the M 1000 XR. For reference, it makes a mind-boggling 209.19bhp and a torque of 113Nm in the M 1000 RR. It’ll be linked to a six-speed gearbox and is expected to benefit from a bi-directional quickshifter too. While the features list is unknown, the M 1000 XR could boast a bevvy of them. From LED illumination to TFT with smartphone connectivity, and even ride modes, traction control, launch control, cruise control and more are expected on the new Bavarian offering.
The test bike is equipped with adjustable USD front forks and a remote adjustable rear shock. Its braking hardware comprises dual front and a single rear disc with Blue coloured M calipers. Meanwhile, the wheels are wrapped in Metzeler K3 Racetec RR tyres.
BMW Motorrad is likely to take the wraps off the bike very soon. It’ll be unveiled in the international market and the probability of being launched here in India is quite low.
