BMW Motorrad India registered 40 per cent increase in 2022 sales

- Registered 40 per cent growth over the previous year

- G 310 range dominated the sales

- Launched S 1000 RR in India in December 2022

BMW India has reported its sales data for the calendar year 2022, and the Bavarian brand sold 7,282 two-wheelers in our market in the recently concluded calendar year. With this, BMW Motorrad India recorded a growth of 40 per cent over the previous calendar year.

BMW  Right Front Three Quarter

The company’s entry-level products dominated the sales and the G 310 series, which comprises three motorcycles – R, RR, and GS, contributed 90 per cent to the motorcycle sales. Apart from the G 310 range, the company also offers the S 1000 RR, R 1250 GS, R 1250 GSA, and C 400 GT in our market.

Last month, BMW Motorrad India updated its portfolio with the 2023 S 1000 RR launch in our market with ex-showroom (India) prices starting from Rs 20.25 lakh. The company also showcased its CE 04 electric scooter in India. However, it is yet to announce the launch details of this product in our market.
