BMW Motorrad has opened a new showroom in Pune. Set up in association with Bavaria Motors, this showroom is located at Suyog Platinum Towers, Naylor Road, Pune.
This showroom only takes care of sale of BMW motorcycles, while the after sales facility is located at Hadapsar Industrial Estate in Pune. BMW Motorrad’s Pune dealership is the third of its kind in India with the other two being set up in Mumbai and Bengaluru. The fourth dealership will come up in Ahmedabad.
BMW Motorrad’s current line-up includes 11 models from the R1200 range, R nineT range, S1000 range and the touring range. Prices start at Rs 14.9 lakh for the R1200 R going all the way up to Rs 28.5 lakh for the K1600 GTL (both ex-showroom, Delhi). All these models are imported as completely built units (CBUs), though the company is contemplating setting up a CKD facility at the BMW plant in Chennai. The G310 R is expected to join the portfolio before the end of this year.
