BMW has issued a recall for over 2000 K-Series motorcycles manufactured in 2007 and 2008 for brake fluid that might foam under certain conditions. And if this happens, it could lead to reduced braking power which might lead to a crash. The affected motorcycles will be retrofitted with brake line screens by BMW free of charge. These screens will eliminate the risk of brake fluid foaming. The recall has been issued for BMW K1200R, K1200R Sport and K1200S models and work on the motorcycles is expected to start in November 2012.
