- Bounce Infinity ties up with Greaves Retail
- To set up battery swapping stations
Bounce Infinity has collaborated with Greaves Retail, a vertical of Greaves Cotton, to provide battery swapping stations for the latter’s electric two-wheelers. The swapping stations will initially be set up in Bengaluru and will be expanded to other cities at a later stage. 2
All the electric two-wheelers from Ampere, the company which is owned by Greaves Cotton, will soon start being available with a battery as a service (BAAS) feature which will enable them to utilise the battery swapping stations. Moreover, electric three-wheeler belonging to B2B and B2C segments will also be able to use these facilities.
The battery swapping stations will be set up at diverse places like residential complexes, restaurants, cafes, co-living spaces, corporate offices, and grocery stores. Moreover, it will also be available at fuel pumps for the EV users to swap their almost drained battery with a fully-charged one. This should take just as much time as it takes to fuel up a vehicle.
With this collaboration, Greaves Cotton intends to create an organised and effective EV ecosystem through its comprehensive 3S (sales, service, and spares) offering present pan-India.
