Brembo unveils brake caliper concept that lights up

- New Brembo caliper unveiled

Brembo, the company that makes some top-spec braking components has unveiled a very interesting concept. They are calling it the new G Sessanta and it’s a brake caliper that has lights on it.  

The Italian brand unveiled this cool tech on the occasion of its 60th anniversary. The company has used an LED technology on this concept. There are a few LED strips on the body of the caliper which lights up depending on the rider’s mood. 

The company claims that this technology can be personalized by using wireless technology. Using a smartphone application, the rider will be able to change the colours of the light depending on the mood or the surrounding. Brembo also claims that the colour and the light also has the potential to send data and information on the condition of the vehicle and caliper to the rider’s phone.  

This cool brake caliper is currently just a concept. And there have been many instances where majority of the concept never make it to production and this caliper could be a member of that.
