The Brixton Cromwell 1200 X has been launched in India at Rs 9.10 lakh, ex-showroom. The Cromwell 1200 X is based on the Cromwell 1200 modern-classic bike, however, it is the scrambler version of it.
While the fuel tank, lights, and side panels are the same as Cromwell 1200, the ’X’ gets a grip pad on the fuel tank, a higher set handlebar, a drilled aluminium cover for the throttle bodies and a ribbed seat.
The Brixton Cromwell 1200 X is powered by a 1222cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine. It develops 82bhp at 6,550rpm and 108Nm at 3,100rpm. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Under the bodywork is a cradle frame with a KYB telescopic fork at the front with 120mm travel and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by twin 310mm discs at the front and a 260mm disc at the rear. The bike rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rearm tubeless wire-spoke rims.
In terms of features, the bike gets all-LED lights, a TFT display, USB port, traction control, cruise control, ABS and two ride modes-Eco and Sport.
The Brixton Cromwell 1200 X is on sale in India and limited to 100 units only. The rest of the Brixton Motorcycle lineup in India includes the Crossfire 500 and Crossfire 500XC. Deliveries of all bikes are set to begin in January 2025.
