-Powered by a 486cc, parallel-twin motor
-Scrambler version of the Crossfire 500X
Brixton Motorcycles, in association with KAW Veloce Motors, has launched the Crossfire 500XC in India at Rs. 5.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is a neo-retro scrambler version of the Crossfire 500X.
The Brixton Crossfire 500XC features a modern-retro scrambler styling with a high-set beak fender, stubby visor, and a headlamp guard. It also gets a radiator guard while the racing number plate on the side panels complete the scrambler styling.
Powering the Crossfire 500XC is a 486cc, parallel-twin motor that puts out 47bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 43Nm at 6,750rpm. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Staying true to the scrambler ethos, the Brixton Crossfire 500XC rides on 19/17-inch tubeless spoke wheels wrapped on dual-purpose tyres. Meanwhile, suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable KYB upside-down forks up front along with a rear monoshock with preload and rebound adjustability. The motorcycle drops anchos with the help of a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc with J.Juan callipers.
The 500XC gets LED lighting all around while the safety net includes dual-channel ABS from Bosch. Although the Crossfire 500XC doesn’t have any direct rivals, it will face competition from the likes of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
