- B65 Scrambler India launch next year
- Based on Goldstar 650
- Likely to be Rs 30,000 more expensive
A few days ago, BSA unveiled its B65 Scrambler, a motorcycle based on the Goldstar 650. It was revealed in the UK and will go on sale there in mid-2025. The same bike is also being planned for an India launch.
It has been just a few months since the Goldstar 650 was launched in India. The company has received a decent response for this motorcycle, as it is quite good. But it looks like the company has already planned to expand the 650cc portfolio in India. The B65 Scrambler is likely to be unveiled in India at the end of 2025, with official deliveries commencing in early 2026.
As it is based on the same Goldstar 650 platform, the B65 Scrambler uses similar cycle parts, but due to its scrambler nature, a few things are different. The B65 gets 19-17-inch spoke wheels along with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. There’s also a raised front mudguard, single exhaust pipe and number boards. Powering this bike is the same 650cc single-cylinder motor which makes around 47bhp of peak power and is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The BSA Goldstar 650 carries a price tag of Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. So its scrambler sibling will be at least Rs 30,000 more expensive. The top-end variant could cost as high as Rs 40,000 more than the Goldstar 650.
