- The bike was supposed to go on sale internationally this month
- The arrival has now been pushed back to late second quarter
- BSA is currently working on building a dealer network in the international market
Back in December 2021, BSA made a comeback in the motorcycle industry with its new Gold Star. The bike was unveiled at the Motorcycle Live event held at NEC Birmingham. However, there has been no word from the manufacturer, until now.
BSA is now looking to build the dealer ground in the international market and will reveal pricing details by May 2022. Not just that, the Gold Star 650 is expected to go on sale in the global market by June of this year.
While BSA is manufactured by Classic Legends, the same brand that sells Jawa bikes in our country, its re-entry in the Indian market is still uncertain. As for the UK, the BSA Gold Star will rival the Royal Enfield 650 twins on its home turf.
All said and done, if you are out to buy a retro middleweight motorcycle, you can check out the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and even the Kawasaki Z650RS. Not to mention, the latter is a bit on the higher price point of the two.
