- CSS 2024 dates announced for India
- Levels 1 to 4 to be hosted over two consecutive weekends
- Limited slots available
One of the world’s most revered riding schools, California Superbike School, has announced its comeback to India in 2024. The dates for the school have been revealed and it will be conducted over two weekends – 26, 27, and 28 January, and 2, 3, and 4 February. Just like all the previous editions, the upcoming school will be held at the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) in Chennai.
The 2024 season will host levels 1 to 4 over two sets of three-day camps. The registration fee is Rs. 75,000 for the first three levels and Rs. 1,30,000 for the fourth level. The fee covers training, food, fuel, insurance and 18 per cent GST. The school also provides motorcycles for those who can’t bring one to the track. However, there are only a limited number of motorcycles available on a first come first serve basis. Bookings for the school are already open on CSS’ India website. Do note that enrolling for this school requires the participant to have prior riding experience and novices aren’t allowed.
California Superbike School is meant for riders who want to become safer, faster, and smoother, specifically around corners. The training is provided by world-class coaches from different countries like the USA, Canada, UK, Poland, Greece, Italy, and India. Every rider is assigned a coach for each day who follows the participant on the track to give them feedback, point out their mistakes, and guide them on rectifying the errors. Even people other than the team of coaches, including course control personnel, monitor the drills being practised by the participants and keep a written record of their on-track performance, all with the aim of helping them improve.
