- Announced by CarTrade Tech’s CSR Arm, CarTrade Foundation
- In a bid to help mobility workers to donors and donor organisations
- Currently, the platform has two live programs
CarTrade Tech’s CSR Arm, CarTrade Foundation has announced a new initiative, DriveASmile, on Dussehra's auspicious occasion. The program has been launched to create a lasting positive social impact within India's mobility sector and help the country’s 37 Million mobility workers.
DriveASmile is a digital marketplace to bridge the mobility sector individuals, including taxi drivers, food delivery personnel, auto plant workers, petrol stations, employees, automobile dealership staff, and their families, to compassionate donors and donor organisations. The platform has been developed to provide a transparent and streamlined means for donors to impact the lives of those encountering financial challenges in the mobility space.
The platform already has two live programs – Support for education and health for car dealer employees, and support for education for transport industry families.
Here’s what you should about the first program – Support for Education and Health of Car Dealer Employees. It is committed to offering educational and healthcare support to car dealer employees and their families. This program will be run for all car dealer employees across India and we hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of car dealer employees and their families starting today.
Meanwhile, the Support for Education of Transport Industry Families will be powered by Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) to help workers in the Transport Fraternity including commercial vehicle owner-cum-drivers, helpers, cleaners, labourers, workers, coolies, and transporters get financial aid for their children to pursue their education and transform their lives through the power of knowledge. The goal is to leverage DriveASmile’s tech-enabled platform to empower these families and ensure that their children have access to quality education.
