-Fully-faired 250SR teased
-Based on the 250NK street fighter
-To be launched in India sometime soon
Chinese manufacturer, CF Moto has teased a fully-faired motorcycled christened the 250SR. The bike was revealed in a track-ready form but CF Moto will take the wraps off the production version soon. The 250SR sports an aggressive styling with an intimidating front end which is likely to get a full-LED headlamp. Moreover, the edgy design can also be seen on the tank and rear section of the motorcycle.
The CF Moto 250SR shares its underpinnings with the 250NK which was recently spotted in India. So underneath its steel trellis frame, we can expect a 250cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine similar to its street fighter sibling. While this motor produces 26bhp and 22Nm in the 250NK, the 250SR is likely to return slightly higher power output.
The concept further sports inverted forks up front although the production version is expected to ride on telescopic forks for the front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking duties will be taken care of by disc brakes at both ends with a dual-channel ABS.
CF Moto is planning to make its India debut soon and we expect the 250SR to be one of the first launches by the company. The CF Moto 250SR is likely to cost around Rs 1.6 lakh to Rs 1.7 lakh and go head on against the KTM RC200,Honda CBR250R and the upcoming Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 in the country.
