The 650NK is a middle-weight bike that follows a minimalistic design with well-defined lines and contrasting highlights that give it an aggressive stance. The naked street bike theme is further accentuated by a muscular fuel tank and edgy extensions carrying the company’s logo. The motorcycle has a wide single-piece handlebar, split-seats and rear-set footpegs that provide a commanding upright stance to the rider. Besides that, the 650NK features LED lighting all-around and a fully-digital instrument console.
In the case of the powertrain, the 650NK is powered by a 649.3cc mill which it shares with the touring-focused 650GT and 650MT models. The parallel-twin, liquid-cooled DOHC unit comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and is capable of producing 60.3bhp and 56Nm. The motorcycle tips the scale at 206kg and is rated to achieve a top speed of 180kmph. Besides that, it offers a seat height of 815mm, ground clearance of 150mm and fuel tank capacity of 17-litres.
Damping duties on the 650NK is handled by KYB telescopic forks on the front and a swingarm-mounted monoshock for the rear. The motorcycle rides five-spoke 17-inch alloys shod with road-biased tyres. For braking, the motorcycle employs dual discs upfront with floating-type callipers and a single disc at the rear also with a floating-type calliper.
In terms of colour options, the 650NK is available in Athens blue/Pearl black and New Pearl white/Pearl black liveries. In India, the 650NK competes against the Kawasaki Z650 in the naked street bike segment.
