- CF Moto working on adventure bike
- Likely to be in 800cc-900cc space
- Will use engine from 790 Adventure
CF Moto has been working on a range of new motorcycles and ADV was one of them. For the first time, a pre-production adventure model has been snapped on camera.
From the picture, it is clear that this upcoming CF Moto is likely to play in the 800cc-900cc space which is hot right now. This motorcycle will mostly use the 790cc parallel-twin engine from the KTM, its Austrian partner. Rest of the cycle parts looks new.
The overall styling of this ADV is new and little intimidating too. The interesting aspect of this bike is its seating ergonomics which looks a bit off, blame that large fuel tank. The handlebar is placed very close to the top of the fuel tank. The pillion seat is large and wide as well. The bike can be seen with alloy wheels which makes us believe that this is more of a touring variant. A more off-road focused variant will be launched in future as well.
Once launched, this motorcycle will compete with the Triumph Tiger 900, BMW F850GS, Yamaha Tenere 700 and the KTM 790 Adventure. Will this bike come to India? It all depends on how the brand is performing in the country. As of now, CF Moto has minimal presence in India.
