- CF1250J spotted with Chinese police
- Powered by 1279cc V-Twin engine
- Won’t come to India
It’s been a few years since CFMoto has been developing its largest bike ever, the CF1250J. After months of speculation and spy pictures, the bike has been spotted in its production form, but there’s a twist.
The bikes that you see in these pictures are patrolling vehicles that was recently handed over to Chinese police. This new touring motorcycle has been modified to suit the needs of the Chinese patrolling officials. Other than the traditional large body panels and windscreen that is usually seen on motorcycles in this segment, the CF1250J is equipped with sirens and communication systems.
The CF1250J gets its power from a 1279cc V-Twin engine that has been borrowed from KTM, its partner. This motor develops 140bhp and has good amount of torque as well. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox that powers the rear wheel via a chain drive.
The CF1250J that will go on sale for the regular customers is likely to get plenty of rider electronic aids like ABS, traction control system and multiple riding modes. In fact, we are expecting it to come with fancy instrument cluster with all the bells and whistles. The CF1250J is unlikely to come to India anytime soon as the brand hasn’t been able to establish itself in the country. Plus, the post COVID-19 era is bound to be quite different for the business.
