Chinese manufacturer, CF Moto has made its way into India in partnership with AMW Motorcycles, a Bangalore-based company. CF Moto might be a new brand in our country but it is one of the largest manufacturers in China. And with many questions brewing about CF Moto, we tell you all there is to know about the brand.
Availability
The major concern about any new brand among prospective buyers is the availability and service experience. Well, CF Moto has announced that it will have dealerships in seven metro cities across India. These include- Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Assam, Cochin and Bangalore. While this is the initial phase, we expect the company to be present in cities like Delhi and Pune soon.
Current line-up
Along with the announcement of its entry into India, CF Moto launched four motorcycles in the country. The current line-up focuses more on the 650cc market with motorcycles targeting different audiences. So there is the 650NK, a streetfighter which is priced an attractive Rs 3.99 lakhs, an adventure-touring model called the 650MT that costs Rs 4.99 lakhs and the complete touring-focused 650GT which costs Rs 5.49 lakhs. CF Moto has also launched the 300NK at Rs 2.29 lakhs.
The main USP of the brand is to provide motorcycles that costs lesser than their respective rivals while not compromising on quality and features.
Bookings and deliveries
Although prices have already been revealed, the bookings for the CF Moto line-up will only begin next month on 5 August. The company says that it will commence deliveries on a first-come-first-serve basis from early October 2019. It will also provide a 100 per cent finance on the motorcycle’s ex-showroom price to promote accessibility towards the brand.
Future plans
Apart from its current four motorcycle line-up, CF Moto has said that it would expand its portfolio by launching around four more products next year. It is likely to include the 400GT, 400MT which like their name suggests will be based on the 650GT and MT respectively. The line-up will also include the 300SR and a 700cc motorcycle, both which are yet to be globally unveiled.
