- CF Moto to have seven motorcycle-portfolio by 2020
- To launch three motorcycles next year
- Will make its debut in India next month
CF Moto is scheduled to make its debut in India next month. And as we reported earlier, it will also launch four motorcycles in the country at the same time. These will include the 650NK, 650GT, 650MT and the 300NK.
While these are part of the manufacturer’s 2019 portfolio, we have learnt that CF Moto is planning to launch three more motorcycles in India next year. This range will consist of the 400NK, 400GT and 300SR. The 400NK is a naked motorcycle that gets a muscular fuel tank and tank shrouds that amplify its streetfighter character.
The CF Moto 400NK is powered by a 400cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 40bhp and peak torque of 34Nm. We expect the 400GT to be powered by the same engine although with an obvious change in character to suit its touring abilities. And while the bike hasn’t been spotted in India yet, it is available in international markets and has the same sports-tourer design as the bigger 650GT.
Meanwhile, the CF Moto 300SR is a fully-faired sport bike that was recently teased in the international markets as the 250SR Concept. Revealed in a track-ready form, the 300SR gets an intimidating front end that is likely to sport a full-LED headlamp. The bike will share its underpinnings with the 300NK that is scheduled to be launched next month. Notably, the production version of the 300SR is likely to be unveiled by the end of this year.
As for competition, the 400NK will compete against the KTM 390 Duke and BMW G310 R. Meanwhile, the 400GT will go head-on against the likes of the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure and Bajaj Dominar 400. On the other hand, the 300SR’s competition in the Indian market would be the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Benelli 302R.
