CF Moto ATVs to launch next year

- Likely to bring its entry-level range

- Will be sold alongside motorcycles

CF Moto is planning to launch a range of ATVs in India through AMW, their Indian partner. The company believes that there’s a big market for all terrain vehicles in India.

Just like their motorcycle range, most of the ATVs will be assembled in India, and that would help the company save on duties and price the products aggressively. Currently, all the ATVs that are sold in India are imported from other countries, thus making it expensive.

The company hasn’t decided on what models it plans to bring to India. But we believe it will start with its entry-level 400cc and 500cc range. The CForce 450 is powered by a 400cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor, whereas the CForce 550 gets its power from a 495cc single-cylinder motor. There’s a CForce 520 model as well but churns out lesser power and is equipped with fewer features compared to the 550 model.

The pricing of these ATVs will be decided once the company runs a survey. These ATVs will be sold through the same showrooms that will sell the motorcycles. That way, the dealerships will also have more footfalls and better business.
