-Company to debut in India in July
-To launch four products next month
-Likely to begin with five dealerships in the country
The Chinese manufacturer, CF Moto is all set to knock on India’s doors in July and will be offering four motorcycles; the 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT as its first offerings.
The 300NK is an aggressive-looking street fighter with edgy lines all over its bodywork. It gets a quirky full-LED headlamp that is flanked by LED turn indicators. The bike will be powered by a rebored version of the 249cc, single-cylinder motor from the 250NK. The bike will compete against the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G310 R and the Honda CB300R here.
The CF Moto 650 NK also follows the same edgy streetfighter styling. It sports a muscular fuel tank with a sharp tail section. On the other hand, the 650 MT belongs to the sports tourer segment. So, it features a tall windscreen, a fuel-tank capacity of 18-litres and a comfortable riding position. Meanwhile, the 650 GT looks like a slightly more capable version of the 650 MT.
It has a big and burly full-fairing that sports a twin LED headlamp with LED DRL setup. Powering all three motorcycles in the CF Moto 650 range is a 649cc, parallel-twin motor that produces 75bhp and 45Nm of torque. The unit comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
While the CF Moto 650 NK will compete against the Kawasaki Ninja Z650, the 650 MT and 650 GT will go head on against the Kawasaki Ninja 650 in the country. However, the motorcycles are expected to be priced lesser than their respective rivals. The manufacturer will bring the motorcycles to India via the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route and assemble them at their Bangalore facility. CF Moto will also announce five dealerships in the country next month which is likely to be present in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Cochin, Mumbai, Goa and Pune.
