- CF Moto’s 700cc bike could make debut at 2019 EICMA
- Powered by a new parallel-twin engine
- India launch next year
A few days ago, we saw the design patents of CF Moto’s upcoming 700cc motorcycle. Now we have learned that this parallel-twin motorcycle is likely to make its world debut at the 2019 EICMA Show.
This upcoming motorcycle is built around a new tubular frame that houses the new 700cc parallel-twin motor. The left crankcase cover sports a ‘700cc’ logo whereas there’s an X logo on the right one, making us believe that this new motorcycle could be launched under a new brand, which will have a family of bikes. There’s a high chance that the Chinese brand could have rebored the 650cc motor that is seen on bikes like the 650NK, to 700cc. The current set of 6500cc bikes are likely to be upgraded with this new 700cc engine.
This CF Moto motorcycle will sport some fancy cycle parts like upside-down front forks and single-pod instrument cluster. Interestingly, this 700cc bike is equipped with a single-disc brake setup at the front. The current range of 650cc CF Moto bikes are equipped with dual-disc setup.
We are expecting this bike will make its India debut sometime next year. The Indian arm of CF Moto plans to launch four new bikes next year, and we believe this new 700cc bike is one of them.
